Polyester Stickers & Labels
Polyester Stickers & Labels Manufacturer
When you order polyester labels, one of the choices that you will be given is a polyester sticker. For the uninitiated, the choice can be a bit daunting, and you’ll be left asking what these Polyester stickers and labels exactly are, why you should choose to go with one, or is it even suitable for what you need it for.
Custom polyester stickers are very highly recommended because of their versatility. These can actually be used in different applications such as faceplates, window decals, and nameplates just to mention a few examples.
But why is polyester ideal for such use? This is because polyester comes from the category of polymers that are in an ester functional group that is called Polyethylene terephthalate or PET.
Polyester is suggested for versatile, high-performing labels, tags, window decals, nameplates, faceplates, control panel overlays, and graphic overlays.
The stickers are stamped onto an assigned area that can withstand high temperatures and features high tensile strength. The superior quality of polyester makes from productions that are not only resistant to smudges but are not easily torn or damaged. In addition, the polyester label is not impacted by natural elements such as humidity and moisture and is virtually water-resistant.
11 Prolific benefits of Using Polyester Labels?
Polyester labels perform exceptionally well in areas that experience harsh conditions. Whether it is extremely hot temperatures, freezing cold conditions, exposure to all kinds of chemicals, or rough handling, a polyester label is more than capable of standing up to such rough conditions. This kind of label is wholly capable of enduring regular scuffing, exposure to heat, abrasion, water, and in spite of all of that, it still does not tear easily. Polyester is impervious to moisture and virtually resistant to odors.
They can be had in many guises. While the most common is the white variety, there are other colors available like clear, silver, and metallic. You can even have these in either matte or a glossy finish, depending on your preference. Most times, the clear label is preferred by people who want a “no-label” kind of appearance for their product. On the other hand, the metallic variant is often picked by those that want a metal-like appearance but are hesitant to use aluminum foil tablets.
Polyester labels are perfect for outdoor use in areas where they may be exposed to all kinds of elements, both natural and otherwise. There is also polyester that is tamper-evident, which indicates a void or some other kind of pattern when the label is detached.
To recap, below is a list of advantages of using polyester labels:
- Resistant to solvents and chemicals
- Resistant to extreme temperatures
- Abrasion and scratch-resistant
- Less reflectance for serialization and barcoding
- High image accuracy
- Exceptional well color clarity
- Dimensional stability
- Ideal for outdoor use
- Exceptional clarity
- High tensile strength
- Remarkable resistance to tears
- Ease of printing and UV curing
21 Polyester Stickers and Labels one can cash in on?
You can print virtually anything on polyester labels through the use of different printing and marking methods. Perhaps the most prevalent marking method utilized is that of laser printing since this creates clear, smooth, and glossy prints. However, there are other viable options such as digital printing, thermal transfers, and silk-screening.
Polyester labels are durable and are fully capable of maintaining their performance in spite of the elements. These labels are crucial especially for providing important information like warning and safety messages, operational instructions for consumers, branding, and even identification of products.
Custom Polyester Stickers, labels, tags, and decals can be used in a wide array of applications. This includes:

How are Polyester films Manufactured?
Polyester films are manufactured through a process that includes:
1) Combining Polymers
Combining Polymers is a crucial process that is done at very high temperatures and in a closed vacuum. The monomer is transformed into the final product, which is called Terephthalate or polyester.
2) Liquefy by a swivel
In this step of the process, the thick, viscous liquid is pumped to liquefy by swiveling using machinery. The polymer is then pumped out during every revolution and cooled out with dry air.
3) Polymer trimming and pulling
The fiber that is obtained is then placed into hot, stretched equipment until they are stretched far longer than their initial length and decreased in width. The fiber is then trimmed and cut into staple lengths.
